In 1994, I met Mike Walker. Mike is a well-known musician, producer and teacher here in Central Florida. Our history together involves collaboration, band projects, teaching guitar lessons, endless rehearsals and countless gigs, but most of all a lasting friendship. Mike and I taught guitar lessons at the Sam Ash Music store in the Lee Road shopping center. We shared the same lessons room. One afternoon in the Fall of 1999, as I was walking into the store to begin my afternoon of lessons, Mike was just finishing with one of his new students, a guy named Peter. Mike introduced me to him, and as soon as Peter spoke, I could tell that he was either from Scotland or Ireland. After Peter left, Mike told me that Peter had a lot of great songs he had written and that he was a really good singer.
