Yeah, there are quite a few that I didn't mention, mostly because they were artists, bands, musicians before my life' soundtrack. Sort of like, I never listened to any Dylan, but I know who he is. His music was before my time. Oddly enough, he and I have the same birthday.
Like that - I know nothing of any of that music. Nobody I knew growing up or going to school, etc., ever played any Dylan. It was well before I was paying attention. I had aunts and uncles who were hippy's; and none of them were really into the 60's folk stuff. They were all much more into the Beatles, and music we now refer to as "classic rock". I definitely think music is generational. So many of my younger guitar students know absolutely nothing about the classic rock I grew up with. Once I expose them to some of it, their ears do perk up.

My college roommate played Dylan’s Desire album almost every day. I’ve had the lyrics to Hurricane committed to memory since I was 18.
