As a guitar instructor, I have taught several hundred students of all ages and levels how to practice and play the guitar. Most of these students have been beginners. One of the most common questions I get asked from these new students is, "What should I learn first?" Taking into consideration that most new beginners who pick up the guitar for the first time, probably don't know the basic fundamentals of being able to play it. I will cover some of those basics here.
