The acoustic guitar is one of the most common instruments that almost anyone can learn how to play. Many kids take lessons when they are children or teenagers. This is the ideal time in life when the body, legs, arms and hands are beginning to grow. Subsequently, the hands, arms and body grow with the guitar. Within a few weeks of practice, the young student will notice more strength and endurance in the hands and fingers. The guitar will become easier to play because of muscle memory, repetition and commitment to learning how to play the instrument. The guitar is also a fantastic confidence booster. It is a really great identity to be proud of. The guitar is one of the best ways to meet other kids who play other instruments; which allows for teamwork and collaborations as a group in learning how to write songs together and create enough material to maybe even put a band together.
