This lesson takes a look at using only four chords in any key to play hundreds of songs. These four chords each have their own numerical place in keys. Here is a brief video on how to use them.

There will be four chords used from the key of C major for this lesson: C, F, G and Am.
Each chord has its own Roman numerical place in a key.
C = I, F = IV, G = V and Am = vi
Exercise 1) I - vi - IV - V
Exercise 2) I - V - vi - IV
Exercise 3) vi - IV - I - V
Each of these examples can be placed into a song structure as verses, chorus's, bridges, etc.
