I surf YouTube a lot, simply because I have a lot of time on my hands. I have been kicking around the idea of doing something new here on SoundHole. A showcase that highlights the youth of today and their uncanny abilities to play great music. The more I search online, the more I keep finding some very impressive kids playing like seasoned musicians. This will hopefully be the beginning of an interesting series of these kids. Enjoy!
This is a band out of the San Francisco area called “The Graystones”.
Man, this really brings me back to my youth. Back when I used to jam with my best friends from the neighborhood. Some of the greatest experience and learning you will ever do as a young beginning instrumentalist, is to play and perform music with other kids.
Check out this version of the classic “Eagles” hit, “I can’t tell you why”. Pretty impressive for kids whose parents were probably not even born when this song was released.
