This message is for all of my subscribers both new and old. Some of you subscribed nearly a year ago and have stuck around. Some of you are recently subscribed and I appreciate you jumping on board.

I wanted everyone to know why I have this newsletter called SoundHole.
Mostly it's because I love to write. I have been told that I am a natural story-teller. Perhaps I got the gift of gab from my old man. He could talk with anybody all day long about absolutely nothing but the weather. The only difference is, I have a newsletter with a lot of stuff to talk about.
My main focus is on writing both beginner and intermediate guitar lessons. Some of you have taken home lessons with me in the past, and some of you are my present students. Just like the lessons I teach in your home, I want my newsletters to reflect some of the same things you found interesting and useful in my home lessons. In many ways, I feel like I am just scratching the proverbial surface.
Not only do I write about guitar lessons, I also write classic album reviews, interesting music stories, music and audio clips and video guitar lessons, "my top favorites" and things I've learned about the latest technology. I want this newsletter to cover all interests you and I both have in music.
