But first, my story...
I was 14 years old when this album came out. 8th grade junior high school during lunch, my good friend John and I, and a couple of other kids, Mike and Pete, decided to bolt out the doors and skip the rest of the day of tediously boring, mind-numbing classes. It was a different time back then. Kids played "hooky" from school all the time. This would be my second episode of ditching school, and not really caring whether or not my actions would get me into trouble. I had a wandering soul, even at an early age. The music of those days became the soundtracks to our early youth. This music we listened to that afternoon is forever burned into my memories of that day, exploring a place we had never seen before, and colors we saw in the sky on our way home.
John had a portable cassette tape player with him that day. He had fresh batteries and a brand new tape. As soon as we ran across the street and got out of sight from the school. We stopped for a few seconds to catch …
