Will the new drummer live up to the hype?

Since the announcement of a 2026 Rush tour, Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee have introduced the name of a new drummer. Her name is Anika Nilles. She is a 42-year-old drummer from Germany. Yes, I said “she”. Guess what, she’s “Thor’s Hammer”. I had never heard of her before. I did my research, watched several of her videos - and I can say without any hesitation, she is a very good choice for the band.
