You might be surprised at the array of reasons many of my guitar students have given to me, for wanting to play the guitar. I thought it might be an interesting topic to share with you. As a private guitar teacher of 26+ years, I have instructed several hundred students. When I meet a new student, one of the first questions I ask is, "So, why do you want to learn how to play the guitar?"
