Nancy Wilson - In 1976, I started learning how to play the guitar. I was highly influenced by two people: Peter Frampton and Nancy Wilson. Heart's "Dreamboat Annie" was released in 1975. Two of their biggest hits from that album were "Magic man" and the radio version of "Crazy on you". Then one day, while hanging out with my friend Curt, he borrowed his older brother, Pete's "Dreamboat Annie" album. This was the first time I had ever heard Nancy's amazing acoustic guitar intro to "Crazy on you". Back then, radio stations didn't play long versions of songs, so I never even knew about it until we played the vinyl record on Curt's stereo. I was immediately hooked on her talent. When I was able to afford them, I purchased as many Heart albums as I could. Nancy Wilson has been a huge influence in the way that I play the acoustic guitar. She is an amazing virtuoso instrumentalist and singer.
