From Acoustic to Electric to Bass Guitars. All the guitars I have ever owned.

My very first guitar was a "loaner" guitar, lent to me by my mom's friend, Barb. That was in 1976 when I was 13 years old. This acoustic six-string guitar was a "Kay" guitar. I honestly don't remember too many details about that guitar except for the fact that the intonation was way off. Meaning, the strings were high up off of the fret board, which made it very difficult to play anything higher than the first few frets. Since my parents could only afford guitar lessons and not a new guitar, I was told to not look a gift horse in the mouth. (Whatever that meant). So, I was grateful to have a guitar, regardless of how difficult it was to play. I don't remember what ever happened to that guitar. I hope that it did get back to Barb.
