Let me explain...
I'm on something new, and it's great!
I recently learned about Base 44. Since I have been learning about A.I. imaging since 2024, “prompting” is something I actually understand. Since Base 44 is an AI generator that allows you to literally construct any app you can imagine, my first thought was - music apps.
The old analog days of books, charts, graphs, writing, and more books - had reached a dead end for me, as far as teaching is concerned. My guitar lessons have dropped off considerably over the past several years - and I could never understand why this was happening.
I have known for a long time that the younger generations just don’t value music and the learning of an instrument, nearly as much as my generation. I’m not pointing fingers. It’s just a truth that has become a stark reality in today’s music culture.
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to simplify and condense my experience as a musician and a teacher - in a way that the younger generations might be more interested in.
This world runs on “apps”. It only makes sense to me that if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. So, that’s what I’m doing. I’m joining the rest of the creators and innovators of the world, and embracing AI, in all of it’s chaos and wonder. I plan to build a lot of apps for music.
As you may have noticed, I have already embarked on my quest to share what I have learned so far. In all honesty, I want to make money from my efforts. In a perfect world, the days of me driving all over creation to teach guitar lessons will eventually come to an end. I would love nothing more than to retire and just create learning tools for all of you.
I appreciate any support or interest you might have in my new ventures. If you have any ideas on apps you’d like to see, by all means, send them my way.
You can check out the two apps I have in my SoundHole Store. I want to make these apps affordable as well as valuable.
Thanks,
Dave
