Part One

Learning chords on the guitar can be a daunting task for any beginner. There's so many! How does anyone remember all of them? Some chords are a little more difficult to play than others. Why is that? Do you really need to know how to play "barre" chords or can you just play simple "open-string" chords? Learning how to keep track of all of your chords, shapes and names, all comes with time, practice and experience. How many chords do you need to know in order to play many of your favorite songs?  I'm going to go over all of those questions and more in this article.
