I started collecting 45's in the middle 1970's. I think a couple of my first singles were Barracuda from Heart and Bohemian Rhapsody from Queen. I might have had about six or eight records in all. The only record player we had in the house was my little sister's portable. When I started taking guitar lessons I had to work my way up to learning more difficult songs. One of those songs was Stairway to Heaven. My guitar teacher, Tony, asked me if I was serious about committing to learning such a difficult song. I definitely wanted to at least try it. He had two vinyl copies of Led Zeppelin IV. He sold one of them to me for $5.00. (I still have it)
I somehow acquired Fleetwood Mac - Rumours. I don't remember when I got it or where I got it from. My cousins gave me the Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic record for Christmas.
