This article was inspired by a video I watched the other day (see link below), about the many types of “connecting chords” you can use between other chords - more specifically, the I and the IV. The deeper it got into the lesson, the more I realized how much that this was one of those keys to unlocking common jazz progressions. It was a sort of “Ah-ha!” moment for me.
